about

Recorded on the 1998 US tour at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. The Band consists of Nick, long time associate and former Hawkwind bass player, Adrian Shaw and Andy Ward, former drummer with 70s prog giants Camel. The set is taken from a cross-section of the Bevis catalogue, from Maybe, a live favourite from the first album Miasma, right up to Hole Song No2 from the most recent album North Circular. The playing is tight throughout, particularly on the wig-out electric dulcimer jam that ends the album. Three musicians at the peak of their powers playing great songs. What more could you ask?

Bevis Frond Walthamstow

New album The Leaving Of London is a triumphant return after a 7 year hiatus. ... more
