about

After experience in a couple of Post Punk Psychedelic Bands, Nick Saloman was involved in a horrendous Motorbike smash, courtesy of Camden Council. Eventually they paid compensation, and Nick bought a portastudio to record some songs, which he pressed up as an album, Miasma, in a limited release of 500 copies. The genius of this debut release was soon picked up, and he had to rush to the pressing plant to generate more copies for the growing legions of fans of the Bard of Walthamstow. What sets Nick apart from his peers is his lyrical honesty, his understanding of the human condition, his unerring songwriting genius and his knowing that a good guitar solo is better than any drug available. So here it is, the debut Bevis Frond Album.

about

Bevis Frond Walthamstow

A steady stream of LPs since then showcase Nick's strengths of strong songwriting, finely crafted lyrics, and a musical mixture from wig-out guitar jams to sensitive folky numbers. New album The Leaving Of London is a triumphant return after a 7 year hiatus. ... more
